Lost Ark Script Reveals Next Two Classes

The next two months of updates planned for lost ark were recently revealed blog post (opens in new tab). The most interesting additions are two new advanced classes. The first, arriving in April, is glaivier, a martial artist who fights with polearms (in the Korean version she’s called a lance master). The glaivier alternates between a burst stance using a spear and a focus stance with the longer glaive, and can apparently summon whirlwinds and teleport. In May, she will join the destroyer, a warrior with an unfeasible hammer capable of hitting the ground with such force that it throws stone spikes (opens in new tab) that pierce enemies. In addition, his hammer shoots lightning.

The April update also adds a new quest continent called South Vern, which was barren land until settlers used borrowed technology to make it green. You will need to be item level 1340 to travel to South Vern. More in-game events and skins are also coming, as well as another way to level up a new character to a high level: “a Feiton Powerpass that provides level 960 gear to level up your new Glaivier or any other character you want!”

Going forward, May is expected to bring several quality of life updates and a weekly activity called Trial Guardian Raids, which appear to be three regular Guardian Raids in a row with your item level adjusted depending on who you’re fighting.

Under the title of “attempt” updates comes another Guardian Raid against something called Deskaluda, which looks like an armored chicken of fate, and the first Legion Raid. These team activities are the real game over finale of the Korean version of Lost Ark, increasingly wild dungeons with checkpoints between levels as they turn into bizarre spectacles.

The Legion Raid planned for May is called Valtan and you will need to be at least item level 1415 to enter. If you want to see how crazy they go, check out the Brelshaza Legion Invasion (opens in new tab) from the Korean version (where Brelshaza is called Abrelshud). A fight against the demon lord who rules dreams, begins with a hallucinatory journey down crooked paths like the end of Labyrinth, and ends in a fight in some sort of cube in space backed by a reactive opera that changes as players go through. each stage of the game. the boss fight. So that’s something to look forward to.
